So, I was just wondering. Are there any differences between Amazon purchases of Razer peripherals or purchases from the Razer store itself? Is there any delivery difference usually? Like it's cheaper on Amazon, I know but it's sold by Razer themselves, so I don't understand why they'd differ the prices by site, are there any differences? Or is it just a marketing tactic used because there are more Amazon browsers for gaming products then Razer store browsers looking for Razer products, so they make it cheaper for more purchases? Cause that is a good idea, and would actually generate more purchases on Amazon. Any answers are appreciated.
As of now the only difference I see is the razer store have promotions, like when you buy a selected razer blade stealth you get a free razer leviathan mini. In amazon gunmetal grey stealth is available in razer store SEA region is not. And yeah items in razer amazon is cheaper than razer store roughly around $50 for Blade Stealth. Those are the things I notice.
Yeah, maybe the receipt would be another difference. But that's not affecting the product itself unless you're looking for a refund.
For peripherals you will find Amazon is usually a lot cheaper. You can pickup a dae for 50 instead of 70 like I did. The systems However are the same price but with no addons unlike the razer store. Apart from this the rest is the same.
I already said 'Like it's cheaper on Amazon'. (non-sarcastically it just sounds like it if you don't include all of what I already said). But yeah it's cheaper. But I might spend some more money for that bag and bottle opener for a little bit.
Return policy on Amazon is better, easier to purchase when the Razer Store is requiring extensive personal information for security reasons and even when provided some orders are being cancelled, faster shipping, and the option for extended third party warranty. On peripherals, maybe all this doesn't matter much, but on expensive systems with quality control issues, it sure does.

Also, If you live outside of the U.S Amazon can make you avoid the customs duties and all of that you might need to deal with if you live outside of the U.S (That is if you use the right Amazon site for your country). I normally buy my Razer Products at Bestbuy Canada and Staples Canada, cheaper then the Razerstore and you also don't need to deal with those customs fees.
Hmm, cool. But for my next purchase, I'll use Razerstore to get that sweet bottle opener.

I'm not that worried about warranty, I have plenty of spare Razer mice, keyboards etc lying around. Just usually upgrade em' to a newer version. Like I have a Razer Naga Hex Red lying around somewhere.
Do you mean if I bought a razer blade stealth in amazon you won't get a warranty from razer? even you register your laptop on their warranty support page?
No you'll get the basic warranty even bought from Amazon, they're official Razer reseller. Only when you bought it as second machine nowadays is a bit complicated, and Razer states on their Website that the guarantee is only for first device buyer.
That's what support told me when I tried to warranty my Mamba which has a broken sensor. First time I;ve ever been disappointing with Razer. Have you had personal experience with this? Should I give my case another try? Just curious.
Yeah thats pretty disappointing.. Thats why I want to know from you guys who bought razer gadgets in their Amazon page. it would be nice also if a razer support staff comment regarding this issue...now I'm hesitant to buy in their amazon page. What's their reason not to replace your Mamba if you buy it to their official amazon page? Did you contact amazon regarding this issue?
Amazon has same warranty with Razer, I contacted Amazon CS before I wanted to buy Razer Blade Pro which I didn't because I bought the Core V2 instead for my Blade 14 and stealth. I didn't ask specifically where to send it if I have to face RMA, but inside a month (everything even because you aren't satisfied with it) I heard directly to Amazon but after that idk exactly. You should contact the Amazon (where you bought) support first in place before contacting Razer if you're still on warranty period (I think in Razer mices 2 years).
My Synapse says "No purchase proof needed for warranty", but when it broke about 2.5 months after I got it Razer said "Oh sorry it wasn't from Razer Store, you are out of luck. Sucks to be you."... So I got screwed over. Been buying Razer for years first time I have ever been severely disappointed with Razer. It still isn't really working, I'd love to get it fixed tbh. Maybe I just got a employee who wasn't having a good day?

Store promotions and product region. I heard people buying Hammerhead Pro V2 from Amazon and getting the APAC version whilst getting it from Razer Store will give you your own region-specific version.
So you have to contact Razer even you bought from Amazon? It's new to me. Resellers like Amazon should take care about warranty (if they sell with their name) as far as I know including Razer Products. Anyway it's also funny to hear the CS comment above, here in EU they will ask from where you get it, ii it's their official resellers like Amazon they'll take care about it, unless you bought it secondhand from eBay or other private sellers.
